Stormy Weather

No names, no pack drill, but at least one of us here at Hurtle is a bit of a sook when it comes to cold weather. This is a bit of a problem because he likes to ride every weekend and we all have to suffer the inevitable post-weekend babble about how cold it was out on the bike.
As I type this, it’s a very cold morning in the South West of WA and we have a couple of major fronts bearing down on us, with the first deluge due on Thursday and rain forecast all weekend. This is good for the farmers and the land is pretty parched so we really are grateful but if we are going to ride, and we are, then we need to be protected.
We have previously discussed winter options and the REV'IT! Component 2 H2O jacket but these options have their limitations and the tempest currently heading towards us looks like being both wet and cold. That being the case, allow us to introduce the Rev’it Rain Wear range...
The Rain Wear is designed to provide the most comfort in the most uncomfortable conditions. The long, diagonal zipper allows for easy on/off, and the hydratex|Lite waterproofing keeps water out. The upscale softshell material is durable but also soft to the touch, and doesn’t make much noise when walking around or moving.
It’s also adjustable to fit over any type of gear. There are multiple adjustment straps on the arms and waist to ensure a tight fit to your body. A handy waterproof storage pouch is present on the right leg for easy access to your essentials. With plenty of reflection on the front, back, arms and legs you will be more visible to others in bad weather or night- time riding. Furthermore, it comes with a removable boot strap and its own carry bag for easy transport and storage.
So there we are: motorcycles, dampened trails and protection from the elements, sounds like the perfect weekend.
