Why No Units Or Apartments?

You may have noticed on our website and at our checkout that for StarTrack deliveries it is noted: NO UNITS OR APARTMENTS, SORRY.
The reason for this is because StarTrack charge an additional fee if they cannot leave a parcel in a safe place. In some cases this fee can be as high as $30, depending on what option they choose (leave a card, attempt a redelivery, etc).
Unfortunately this becomes unsustainable for us if we are charged additional fees for StarTrack to leave a "we missed you" card.
Therefore, please help us out by only selecting StarTrack if you can provide an address where either:
- Someone will be present to accept the delivery (eg. workplace); or
- There will be a safe place to leave it (eg. house with a carport or something)
Unfortunately, StarTrack will not leave parcels in a safe space at units or apartment buildings, because they deem it unsafe to do so, and in those instances we will be charged the extra fees.
