Yamaha MT-07 Rear Spindle Paddock Stand Bobbins Installation

The Yamaha MT-07 doesn't have traditional paddock bobbin attachment points, so one of the only options you have to add paddock stand bobbins are the Evotech Performance Rear Spindle Paddock Stand Bobbins.
They are so easy to fit that it's almost not worth doing an article/video for, but I was installing them anyway so here's how it's done:
- When you get them out of the pack, you'll find one of the nyloc nuts is done up tight, and the other end is only finger tight. Remove the loose nyloc nut and washer
- Feed the spindle through the rear axle on your MT-07
- Re-attach the washer and nyloc nut. You'll need a spanner/wrench on each end to tighten it, and you should use a torque wrench set at 8Nm.
That's it! See the video below for a demonstration, and once you're done you'll have a set of paddock stand bobbins that make routine maintenance much easier, as well as providing some protection for your swing-arm in the event of a spill.
