Yamaha MT-07 Rizoma Crash Bobbins Installation

We recently fitted some Rizoma Crash Bobbins (Engine Guards) to the Hurtle Gear Yamaha MT-07 demo bike. 

The bobbins are very high quality and are designed to help protect your bike in the event of a fall.

Watch the video below for step-by-step instructions on how to install the crash bobbins, but some important tips to remember are:

1. Remove and install the engine bolts when the engine is cold
    
2. Remove and install the engine bolts one at a time. That is, remove and replace one side, then remove and replace the other side
    
3. When tightening up the new M12 engine bolts, use a torque wrench set at 75Nm
    
4. The second M10 bolt for the bobbins mount should be tightened to 35Nm
