GPR Motorcycle Exhausts

GPR is an Italian motorcycle exhaust manufacturer offering an extensive range of exhaust systems for road, adventure, touring and performance motorcycles. The GPR range includes slip-on silencers, complete exhaust systems, headers and link pipes, depending on the motorcycle. This gives riders options ranging from a relatively straightforward silencer upgrade through to more substantial changes to the original exhaust system.

Which GPR exhaust should you choose? Many motorcycles have several GPR options available, with different silencer shapes, finishes and materials. Depending on the application, choices can include stainless steel, titanium-look finishes, carbon fibre and other distinctive GPR designs. The best option often comes down to the appearance you prefer as well as the specification of the individual system.

A slip-on exhaust generally replaces the original silencer while retaining more of the factory exhaust system. Other GPR products may replace the link pipe, catalytic converter or larger sections of the original system, so check the individual product carefully to see exactly what is included.

Road approval can also vary between GPR exhausts. Some systems are supplied with European homologation for their specified configuration, while racing, decat or other performance components may be intended for closed-course use. Approval requirements in Australia are not necessarily the same as European homologation, so we recommend checking the specifications of the exact exhaust rather than assuming every GPR system has the same road-use status.
