This is a curved extension plate with 1" ball that was originally designed to position a GPS in front of the yoke on a plane, but has quickly become useful in so many other ways.

The mounting section of the plate is 2.5" (6.35cm) square, with predrilled holes for many different screw hole patterns, including the universal AMPS hole pattern and all RAM made cradles. The curved section extends approximately 2.25" (5.71cm) forward, at a 45 degree angle, from the centre of the 1" ball, and approximately 1.5'' (3.81cm) above the 1" ball (to the bottom of the connection section of the plate).
