Once you have removed the pillion footrests, fill the void left behind and cover those otherwise exposed holes in the sub-frame with an R&G blanking plate.

This footrest blanking plates has been specially designed to cover/protect either the left and right hand sides of the Kawasaki Ninja 250/400 '18-, z400 & z250 '19-,z500 (ninja) '24- model.

R&G footrest blanking plates are easy to install, simply screwing into place in-place of the rear pillion pegs, covering those otherwise exposed sub-frame holes, that if left uncovered could result in corrosion of the frame/sub frame from dirt, water and debris buildup.
