SW-MOTECH Engine Guard - Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin - Silver

Give the underside of your motorcycle substantial additional protection with the SW-MOTECH Engine Guard. Designed for demanding adventure and off-road riding, this heavy-duty aluminium guard provides extensive coverage for vulnerable components beneath the motorcycle, including parts of the manifold and exhaust system.

Compared with the smaller original 2.5 mm engine guard, the SW-MOTECH design uses 5 mm high-strength aluminium across the lower section and 4 mm aluminium along the sides. Its long, raised profile provides a considerably larger protective area against rocks, debris and ground contact.

Heavy-Duty Protection

SW-MOTECH incorporates an additional contact point against the motorcycle's steel frame to help distribute forces from ground contact beyond the conventional mounting points. Additional 8 mm hard rubber elements help absorb impact forces and distribute loads across the available contact points.

Important Information

This engine guard can be complemented with compatible SW-MOTECH crash bars and an engine guard extension used with the appropriate SW-MOTECH centre stand. It is not compatible with DCT motorcycles fitted with a gear lever.
