SW-MOTECH PRO Tank Ring - BMW R 1300 GS (2023+) - Black

Mount a compatible SW-MOTECH PRO tank bag securely and conveniently to your BMW R 1300 GS with the bike-specific SW-MOTECH PRO Tank Ring. Designed specifically around the motorcycle's fuel filler, the PRO system provides a secure mounting solution without requiring the tank bag to rest directly on the motorcycle's paintwork.

The proven SW-MOTECH QUICK-LOCK system is combined with a Fidlock magnetic guide, making it quick and easy to position the tank bag. The magnets guide the upper ring into place before the mechanical locking system securely engages.

Quick & Secure Tank Bag Attachment

The magnetic Fidlock guidance system assists with positioning the tank bag over the ring, while the mechanical QUICK-LOCK mechanism provides the secure connection required while riding. To remove the tank bag, simply operate the release strap for quick access to the fuel filler.

The tank ring is manufactured from strong fibreglass-reinforced plastic and aluminium, with a high-precision locking geometry designed to provide a secure connection between the motorcycle and compatible PRO tank bag.

Bike-Specific Design

Rather than using a universal mounting arrangement, each PRO Tank Ring is developed specifically around the fuel filler of the intended motorcycle. This provides a neat fit and helps position the tank bag appropriately over the fuel tank.

The system also allows the fuel cap to be opened normally when the tank bag is removed, making refuelling straightforward.

Adjustable Tank Bag Position

Compatible PRO tank bags feature a sliding upper ring that is pre-assembled to a guide rail underneath the bag. This allows the position of the tank bag to be adjusted before the upper ring is tightened into place, with no drilling of the tank bag required.

The position can also be readjusted if the tank bag is later transferred to another compatible motorcycle and PRO Tank Ring.
