Why Don’t Motorcycles Come with Short Levers as Standard?

Manufacturers must design motorcycles to suit a wide range of riders, hand sizes and experience levels. Standard levers are therefore longer and more general-purpose. EP Evo Short Levers offer built-in span adjustment, allowing riders to fine-tune reach and ergonomics for their individual needs.

The shorter length also reduces the risk of the lever striking a solid object—such as the road—during a fall. Using two fingers on the levers keeps the remaining fingers on the handlebar, improving stability and steering control under braking.
