They are designed so that the bobbin head rotates on impact, which is done by an aluminium spacer system that provides a solid core for the location of the nylon bobbin head.

The bobbins are retailed by a roll threaded stainless steel spindle, and the kit comes with two nylon bobbins, two anodised aluminium spacers, stainless steel spindle, nuts, washers and a hollow spindle nut when required.
