This Front spindle bobbins (axle sliders) for the Yamaha Tenere 700 was designed by Evotech Performance. The bobbins are held in place by a stainless steel spindle rod with rolled threads that fits through the front wheel spindle. They have nylon bobbin heads with aluminium cores that sit on either side of the front wheel, protecting the lower front forks and brake callipers. The nylon bobbin heads, which are mounted on either side of the front wheel, are expected to take the brunt of the impact.
