While allowing cooling air to pass through, this radiator guard protects the V-Strom 650 radiator from light and severe damage caused by road debris. The Suzuki radiator is made up of thin cooling fins and internal cores that readily bend and restrict air flow, resulting in overheating and a loss in engine performance. Debris, such as a stone picked up by the bike's front wheel or other traffic, could also pierce the internal cores and fling it right at the radiator.
