This also increases the overall durability and impact resistance of the spindle bobbins (axle sliders). 

The bobbins are retained by a stainless steel spindle with roll threads for extra strength. The kit includes two nylon bobbins, two anodised aluminium spacers, a stainless steel spindle, nuts, and washers.
