These rear axle sliders for the MT-09 (2024 - onwards) consist of injection-moulded nylon bobbin heads with an aluminium supporting inner that are fitted through the rear wheel using a stainless steel spindle rod.

Designed to help protect both sides of the rear wheel, swing arm and brake calipers in the event of a fall. In the event of an accident, the bobbin is expected to take the brunt of the force and should rotate to minimise stress and damage to the rear tyre.
