When replacing an end can or full exhaust system, removing the bulky OEM exhaust servo motor is often essential. The Exhaust Servo Eliminator (ESE) allows you to do exactly that—while also preventing the FI warning light from appearing when the servo motor is disconnected. Small in size but powerful in function, the ESE ensures the job is done properly.

Smart Technology in a Compact Package

Featuring a built-in microprocessor, the ESE delivers reliable operation and broad compatibility. Simply plug it in and enjoy uninterrupted riding with no warning lights or system errors.

Despite its advanced electronics, the unit is incredibly compact—smaller than the original OEM connector—making installation neat and unobtrusive.

Wide Compatibility

The ESE works seamlessly with all aftermarket slip-ons and full exhaust systems, and is also compatible with standard exhaust setups. Whether you are upgrading your exhaust or fitting a fuel controller, the ESE is an essential component for motorcycles equipped with an exhaust servo.

OEM exhaust systems are often heavy, restrictive, and visually unappealing. Upgrading to an aftermarket system improves sound, reduces weight, and unlocks performance—but removing the exhaust valve without an ESE will usually trigger an FI warning light. Installing an ESE ensures the warning light only illuminates when there is a genuine engine issue.

Key Features

  • Regain space and reduce weight: Eliminates the bulky OEM servo motor, cables, and wiring—saving up to 1 kg and freeing valuable under-seat storage.
  • Advanced electronics: Built-in microprocessor ensures optimal performance and excellent compatibility.
  • Essential for upgrades: Required when replacing the exhaust system or installing a fuel controller on servo-equipped bikes.
  • Plug-and-play installation: No cutting or splicing required.

Easy Plug-and-Play Installation

All ESE units are designed for quick and simple installation. Locate the exhaust servo motor under the rider or passenger seat, disconnect the OEM plugs, connect the ESE module, and you’re ready to ride—no additional setup required.

What Is an Exhaust Servo / EXUP Valve?

Many motorcycles use an exhaust flap valve—often referred to as an EXUP valve—to increase low-end torque by creating back pressure in the exhaust system. As engine speed rises, the valve opens to allow exhaust gases to flow freely.

This valve is typically welded into the exhaust system near the collector or catalytic converter, making removal from the stock system impractical and expensive. As a result, fitting an aftermarket exhaust is usually the best solution for performance and weight reduction. In either case, an Exhaust Servo Eliminator is required to complete the upgrade correctly and avoid dashboard error warnings.
