These rear axle sliders for the Monster 950 SP are designed to guard the rear wheel lower swing arm, sprocket carriers and brake calipers in the event of a fall. 

They are designed in a way so that the nylon bobbin heads are free to rotate on impace above the aluminium inner to reduce stress on the wheel.
