The touring screens are designed to be more aerodynamically effective than their stock counterparts, and they've been thoroughly tested in a simulated wind tunnel to insure improvements in aerodynamic coefficient (Cx) and rider safety. They deflect wind that would otherwise reach the helmet and top of the torso due to the increased height.
