This is a RAM Mounts suction cup mount that includes a long socket arm and a round base with the AMPS hole pattern on it that will attach directly to most RAM tablet holders.
The twist-lock suction cup base has a strong hold on glass and non-porous plastic surfaces, and the socket arm uses the RAM 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm, allowing for almost infinite viewing angles. The hole pattern found on the round base adapter will connect to most RAM cradles and 3rd party cradles that have the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.
- Material: Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminium
- Ball Size: 1" Rubber Ball "B" Size
Note: The "U" in the part number reflects product packaged in poly bag. This mount does not require any drilling for installation.
ExcellentBy: John on 5 July 2018Marvellous, however we opted for the RAM-B-347U rather than the round base.
Flexible MountsBy: David on 18 August 2017The Ram mount series is expensive but worth it if you want high quality mounts with a flexible range of uses. Hurtle service was quick and efficient.
GreatBy: Ludwig on 11 July 2017Easy and convenient service, surprisingly great suction
Robust but bulkyBy: Nathaniel on 19 April 2017Nice bit of kit which does what it says. It us bulky and heavy though, so be aware of what you're using it for. Also be very careful of over-threading the screws if, as in my case, you're sent the components deconstructed. When screwing the ball onto the suction base, be aware there is very little tolerance for threading. I felt my first screw break the threshold with hardly any resistance - I was much more careful with the second screw. Otherwise the product works well and the suction is bomb proof. The arm is a nice length for my SUV and brings the phone into a reachable distance without coming into the cab too far. Did I mention it's bulky though? ;)
