This product will connect to the edge of any flat surface that is between 4.4mm and 28mm thick, allowing you to then mount any electronic device to the RAM 1" ball system. A classic example of using this product is on a car side window edge lip or glare shield on an aeroplane.

The base has two composite bolts that clamp the base to the lip surface. 

Mount will attach to flat surfaces within the following dimensions: 
Min: 4.4mm / 0.17"
Max: 28.0mm / 1.12"
