This is a very versatile RAM 1" socket mount that has a 360° rotation point at the center and a connecting swivel joint that rotates forward and back 180°. Combined with the rubber ball and socket at each end, it provides almost unlimited angles.
This mount will connect to any other RAM mount that has a 1" ball.

Flexible but fiddlyBy: John on 7 December 2017Great flexibility and longer than the fixed arms. No spring to open the clamp makes it a little more fiddly in attaching, but once it is on, the device can be put in any position without the limiting slots on the fixed arms getting in the way.
Difficult to faultBy: Chris on 10 October 2017In my experience, if you want to mount anything to anything, RAM gear is the bes (if not the cheapest) solution.
does what it says great productBy: Howard L on 8 February 2017I purchased this product as i wasn't able to set my phone to use the camera when driving this give you multiple angles and settings and easy to use as with all Ram products.
Great product22 March 2016Using this in an aircraft to mount an ipad. Great adjustment for angle and reach, but unable to get it rock solid. Some slight movement remains, I guess with more moving parts it is inevitable.
Multi functional/directionalBy: Peter on 15 July 2014This is a fully functional and multi directional and solid mount. I noticed it allows transmission of minor road shock and movement to the camera mounted on it, only really noticeable on rough road surfaces, but I didn't imagine I would achieve a totally stable platform where the base is mounted to the brake reservoir mount on the handlebars or a motorcycle. Very pleased overall.
