This cradle is for the Apple iPad 2, 3 or 4 with no case, and will connect to the rest of the RAM Mounts system, allowing you to mount your iPad just about anywhere.

The holder consists of a high strength composite cradle and patent pending roller design, which allows for smooth placement and removal of the iPad, while keeping it secure when on the go. The AMPs hole pattern on the back of the cradle allow you to attaching various mounts, for perfect articulation and viewing angles. The RAM-HOL-AP15U DOES NOT contain the patent pending Uni-Conn™ docking connector; however, an open space is allocated for free attachment to various cable/docking connectors.

Includes a set of four nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any RAM components or mounts that contain the universal AMPs hole pattern (eg. RAM-B-202U :: RAM 2.5" Round Base with AMPs Hole Pattern & 1" Ball).
