This product is designed to hold various devices such as phones and radar detectors. It includes a magnetic plate with two powerful rare earth magnets, a composite cradle, and an adhesive metal plate (50mm x 38mm x 0.08 mm thick with an adhesive back). 

To attach your device to the magnet, you need to attach the metal plate to your device.

Note: The "U" in the part number reflects product packaged in poly bag. The magnetic mount should NOT be used to hold any device that has an internal hard drive. The magnet may damage the drive. This includes the Apple iPod and other small battery operated devices.
