This product is an adhesive mount that will let you attach the RAM Mounts 1" ball system to any smooth, non-porous surface (eg. car dashboard). It has a 2.5" (6.35cm) wide base that has an adhesive pad on it, with a 1" ball attached.

I attached the base to the back of a phone case as I could not get a specific RAM holder for my phone and do not like the existing generic phone holders. It is ideal for my purposes.
